Our clients are craving connection and understanding.  They want to know that some one is listening and someone can relate and empathize with their struggles.

Group Therapy is a Great Fit for Teens!

Our team of teen counseling specialists has created each of our groups to offer a balance of skill-building with the fun, support and connection that only groups can offer.

** Please note -- In the event that local schools are closed in early April, we will move the start date for these groups to April 21st**

For Any & All Tweens ages 10-13

Designed for older elementary and younger middle school students, this group uses games, art and other activities to help tweens feel engaged and connected while learning important skills related to:

Expressing Emotions 

  • Coping with Anxiety 
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills 
  •  Growing in Self-Awareness and Self-Confidence

When: Thursdays 5-6p

For Girls in Grades 9-12

Designed with teenage girls ages 14-18 in mind, this group provides young women with a safe, supportive environment to explore their hopes, doubts, dreams and fears under the guidance of an experienced therapist, while learning important skills related to:

  • IMPROVING BODY IMAGE
  • MORE EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION
  • SETTING HEALTHIER BOUNDARIES
  • ENDING NEGATIVE BELIEF PATTERNS
  • MANAGING DIFFICULT EMOTIONS
  • COPING WITH STRESS & ANXIETY

The High School Girls' Group also teaches valuable skills from the evidence-based DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), which has proven to be very effective with teens!

For Girls ages 12-18

For Teen Girls who struggle with a roller coaster of emotions, and are ready to feel better in their bodies and their minds, while learning important skills related to:

  • IMPROVING MIND-BODY CONNECTION
  • HEALTHIER BODY IMAGE 
  • MANAGING DIFFICULT EMOTIONS
  • ENJOYING STRONGER CONNECTIONS
  • GAINING CONFIDENCE

Our Middle School Skills Group helps teens enjoy these sometimes difficult years with a clear sense of who they are, what they value, what they deserve from their friendships and how to cope with the ups and downs of the school year. They enjoy the support and connection of a group, while learning important skills related to:
